The dynamic bands are probably the biggest thing for me. ![]() Here are some things that I do a lot in Pro-Q³ does that this doesn't do: Dynamic EQ bands that can be linked to an external side chain, the red "masking" preview where frequencies may be colliding, oversampling, different types of phase handling, and the piano keys (if I'm going to EQ a tom, I might as well boost on a frequency that's in key and cut on one that isn't). The mid/side thing can be achieved in Pro-Q³. Pro-Q³ drives me nuts with the way it moves them in opposite directions. ![]() Slate basically came up with a more local control panel for the bands than the knobs in Pro-Q³, and I LOVE that when you select two or more bands, they move in the same direction.
